Lately, I’ve seen a lot of people sharing their work, which reminded me that many years ago, I also considered diving into side projects. But the value of software really comes from its business model—not the code itself. No matter how perfect or scalable the code is, without a solid business model behind it, it doesn’t really mean much.

That’s why I now believe engineers should focus on building tools that help them learn and boost productivity. After all, solving real problems will always create value.
