I often have to pick up additional skills, frameworks, or even non-coding-related tasks for work. I don’t really mind it, but in this world, being a specialist tends to be more valuable than being a generalist. That said, having the ability to connect the dots might actually give me a bit of an edge in the AI era. Still, compared to those who have truly mastered certain technologies, I have to admit—my career path has been a tough one.
Right now, my main focus at work is on learning languages(Japanese). After all, it’s something that naturally takes years to master. If everything goes well, I’m hoping that within 3 to 5 years, I’ll be able to start my own business.
