"What will browsers actually be for in the future?"

    • Handling the entire volume of web data purely with live AI processing is just unrealistic.
    • Browsers might shift towards being "information libraries" — portals to instantly access preprocessed static files (like via CloudFront).
  2. The rise of LLMO (Large Language Model Optimization)

    • Instead of SEO (which optimizes for human readers),
    • Content will be structured semantically, so AIs can explore and reconstruct it more efficiently.

【AR/VR Isn't a Requirement】

  • AR/VR tech isn't necessary for building future portals.
  • Even on a simple 2D screen, we can deliver revolutionary new browsing experiences.

【Portal Experience Innovation】

Imagine a new way to access content without clicking URLs.

  1. User types their intent into a chatbox
  2. AI predicts the needed resources and auto-generates URIs
  3. The portal dynamically assembles and displays the experience

Example:

  • Instantly, a custom-tailored version of their site appears in the portal.

Key points:

  • "Custom-tailored" doesn’t mean hallucinated, half-baked AI guesses.
  • The experience should be based on pre-developed, officially provided resources from the company side.
  • A totally new kind of dynamic, creative website experience built for AI-driven browsing.
  • We might even need to rethink URI and directory structures to support this.
  • By linking AI-generated URIs to curated resources, we could finally enable hallucination-free, personalized AI web experiences.

  • For now, it's more realistic that developers manually prepare components and data ahead of time.
  • But someday, AI might even be able to auto-generate the resources themselves.
  • The real technical challenge: exploding data volumes and storage limits.

Even 2D screens are enough.

Right now, predicting "what comes after a button click" still feels too random and unstructured (unsemantic).

It’s unrealistic to apply a single solution across all users and all websites globally.

Instead, if OpenAI’s goal is true personal AI,

then it makes sense to focus heavily on deep-learning small-scale, individual user patterns.

This would massively accelerate AI-driven SaaS and UI evolution.

Practical early-stage ideas:

  • Logging and saving user action histories individually
  • Letting users build/edit their own usage macros for semi-automation
