I’m currently working on my first web development project called CraveSpin. As someone who’s always craving food but can never decide what to eat, I decided to build a fun app to solve this dilemma.
CraveSpin is a web app that lets users choose their mood and weather, and then generates food suggestions based on those selections, using a spinner-style animation. I’m building it with SvelteKit for the front end and Tailwind CSS for styling. The app is designed to be simple and fun, with a focus on functionality rather than images.
Although I’m still learning design and UI/UX, I’ve focused on creating something that works well. I’d love to improve the design aspect as I go, so any feedback on that would be awesome!
I’ve been learning web development on my own and documenting my progress along the way. It’s been a great hands-on learning experience, and I’m excited to share my journey with the community. I’d love to get feedback from more developers as I continue to improve the app and add more features, like weather integration and more food categories.
