Three days ago, I launched hypemeup.ai — an AI tool that helps devs, founders, and creators sound bold, smart, and unforgettable across social media.

Today, I shipped OpenAI GPT-4o integration.

🔧 What I’ve Built So Far:

  • ✅ UI layout with content input
  • ✅ Platform & tone selector
  • ✅ Fully working /app route
  • ✅ API integration with OpenAI (via GPT-4o-mini)

Now users can type in a thought, pick a tone, and the tool returns post-ready content for LinkedIn or X.

💥 What Broke:

  • OpenAI threw a 429 quota error on first try 😅 (pro tip: set up billing early)
  • Had to create my own API proxy for secure calls
  • Prompt responses still need tuning - they’re functional, but not fire yet

🔜 What’s Next:

  • Smarter prompts for each tone (confident founder, chill dev, etc.)
  • Multi-platform output from a single input
  • One-click posting to X and LinkedIn
