Event Background

The “Open Source Promotion Plan” (OSPP) 2025 is setting sail once again! Apache DolphinScheduler, as a globally leading distributed and visual DAG workflow scheduling system, has been selected for this grand open-source event for multiple consecutive years. This year, we will continue to collaborate with community developers and are recruiting one senior mentor from the community to jointly promote innovation and implementation in big data scheduling technologies.

Mentor Recruitment (1 Person)

We are looking for someone like you:

  • Technical Expert: Familiar with DolphinScheduler architecture (such as the registry center and task scheduling logic). Prior open-source contribution experience is preferred.
  • Skilled Guide: Good at communication and project management, capable of regularly mentoring students and reviewing code.
  • Community Builder: Aligns with the Apache open-source philosophy and is willing to make long-term contributions to the community ecosystem.
  • Eligibility Requirements: Project mentors should be active developers in the community🧑‍💻, generally serving as a Maintainer, Committer, or Contributor related to the project.

    • Certified Mentor for Open Source Summer
    • Mentor Certificate awarded by the Apache DolphinScheduler community
  • Exposure & Influence: Contributions will be featured on the community website, WeChat public account, and global Meetup events.

  • Student Application Period: May 9 – June 9 (Register on official site + submit materials)
  • Project Development: July 1 – September 30
  • Final Evaluation: October 1 – November 9
