Hi, I’m Angel!

I’m learning frontend development, and even though I don’t have a laptop yet, I’ve been coding using my phone and online tools like JSFiddle and VS Code.

I recently worked on the navigation bar for my fashion website using HTML and CSS. It wasn’t easy, but I was determined to see it through. This is my first real step into building something of my own, and I wanted to share how it’s going so far.

What I Struggled With

Since I’m still learning, building the navbar wasn’t smooth from the start. I had a hard time getting things to line up properly — like the logo, the menu links, and the icons. I also wanted everything to stay in the same row, which was confusing until I started understanding how flexbox works.

Sometimes, things looked fine in my head, but didn’t come out right in the code. I had to keep trying, adjusting spacing, and reading guides until it started making sense. The biggest challenge was positioning — but figuring it out taught me a lot.

What I Learned

This small project taught me a lot about how layout works in HTML and CSS. I got more comfortable using flexbox, learned how to space elements properly, and saw how important structure is when building a page. Even when things didn’t work at first, I kept experimenting — and that helped me understand better than just reading or watching tutorials.

Most importantly, I learned that progress comes from doing. Even if it’s not perfect, each attempt takes me closer to getting it right.
