Hey devs 👋

Ever had a moment in your dev journey where another developer’s advice, help, or perspective completely changed the game for you?

Maybe it was:

  • A random Stack Overflow reply that finally made closures click.
  • A senior dev who taught you to write tests like a pro.
  • A late-night Discord call where you debugged for 3 hours and actually enjoyed it (kinda 😅).
  • Or just a tweet that shifted how you think about programming.

We want to hear your developer-to-developer story. 🙌

🧑‍💻 What’s This About?

We're running a new series on MrProgrammer.in — a site built by devs, for devs — and we’re looking to feature real, raw, and inspiring stories from developers like you.

This isn’t about showing off code or big titles. It's about sharing those human, relatable, and real moments that make the dev community so awesome.

🧠 What Kind of Stories?

We’re looking for short stories (250–500 words is perfect) where you share:

  • A valuable lesson you learned from another dev
  • A time someone helped you see things differently
  • The impact of mentorship, pair programming, or open-source collab
  • Even a hard truth another dev told you that stuck

Think: one dev moment that made a big impact — technical, emotional, or both.

✨ Why Share?

✔️ Get featured on MrProgrammer.in
✔️ Reach a community of passionate learners and builders
✔️ Build your personal brand and backlink your own blog/social
✔️ Inspire someone who might be right where you once were

We’ll highlight your name, link back to your dev.to, GitHub, blog — whatever you prefer. You'll be credited fully and forever. 🫡

Let's Make Dev Culture More Human

Whether you're a beginner who just wrote their first loop or a senior architect debugging race conditions before coffee — your story matters. And someone out there needs to hear it.

Can’t wait to read what you share.
