In this article I will tell you about my experience with productivity tools.
I have been using QuickHotkeys for a few weeks now, and here is my experience with it.
It is a set of tools that speed up productivity in Windows.

Check out the Youtube channel about this.

This really speeds up work in everything. A very, very cool thing that is simply difficult to live without. So, I advise you to install it right away.
And check it out yourself. There are a lot of useful things here. Surely something will come in handy. If something is not required, it can be disabled or enabled in Settings. (I have everything enabled).

So here are a few tools from the big list:

Dragging windows by clicking anywhere in the window

And first of all, a very useful thing here is dragging windows.
You just left-click and right-click in the window, anywhere, and the window can be dragged.
Cool, easy, very convenient to move windows.
You can very quickly change the size of windows, just by clicking somewhere near the edge of the window.
It becomes much faster to work with windows.
No bugs, many features. Windows can be moved in a straight line. Windows can stick to the edges.
You can easily align the window exactly to the middle of the screen.
You can make the window go left or right. Move it a little.

Sticky keys for a second

The next feature, very very cool, that i can't live without now - is Sticky keys.
Let's imagine that you need to save text, and for this you need to simultaneously press Ctrl+S.
But this is very inconvenient. It is much easier to press Ctrl, and then S. Here Ctrl sticks when pressed a little, so it does not need to be held down simultaneously with the S key.
Now you just do not need to hold down the all keys at the same time to press some hotkey. You can press the keys separately.

(You do not need to worry about the modifiers sticking, they only stick a little, and they themselves are released, after a second).

Mouse Gestures for Scrolling and Closing Tabs and Windows

Next, one of the coolest things is Mouse Gestures.
It speeds up productivity several times.
This is a very, very necessary thing, you can't do without it.
It is much faster to draw a gesture than to press keys on the keyboard.
For example, it is much faster to draw an S than to press Ctrl+S to save a file.

You can press hotkeys using only the mouse, without using the keyboard.
For example, you can easily press hotkeys in a dark room where the lights are off.
Or just without looking down at the keyboard.
This saves a lot of energy and protects against stress.
It becomes much easier and more convenient to work.

It is much faster to close a tab with a gesture than to click on the cross to close on a tab.
That is, much, much more time is saved. The work is faster.
Here, to close a tab, you just need to cross out the page, with one line.
It is super fast, to close tabs.
Or, for example, to close a window, in the same way.
Much faster than clicking on the cross at the edge of the window.
You should definitely check it out in work.
This is far from something unnecessary. It speeds up the speed of work many times over.
Just check how it works before you say that I don't need it.

Here, to start drawing a gesture, you just need to hold down the right mouse button and you can draw a gesture.

Lots of productivity tools

There are many more things here that speed up work, and many useful things.

  • Always place windows on top of other windows.
  • Make windows transparent.
  • Remove the title from the window.
  • Remember the size of windows, and their position on the screen.
  • And so on, a long list.

Quick shutdown of the computer using a hotkey, the Esc key.

To quickly turn off the computer, you just need to press and hold the Esc button.

So, the idea of turning off the computer in another way will never come up.

Time and time, everywhere saving time in everything.

More convenient hotkeys for text editing

You can quickly select text, quickly erase all text on a line. Quickly scroll to the beginning and to the end of the page, and so on.

Super fast copy and paste

It is much more convenient to use these keys for copying and pasting:
Ctrl - to copy, and Win - to paste.

Now I do not use hotkeys Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V at all. It is not convenient, and there may be errors in pressing.

Go to the next page in the browser via hotkey

To quickly go to the next page in the browser, you can press only the right arrow button (but just hold it down for a little while).

Now you no longer need to scroll the page for a long time to the Next page link and click the mouse.
It is much faster to press the button.

The program runs in the tray and is automatically loaded when the computer is turned on.

There are many other things. I don't have time to describe everything. You can check all the features yourself in the Settings menu (You can find this by right-clicking on the program in the tray).
There you can enable or disable some module. And there is a description of how it works.
