We're seeking an experienced developer to build a web/Electron application that serves as a central portal for users to access and configure their React/Vue.js applications directly from GitHub repositories.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement a secure, intuitive login system
2. Develop GitHub integration allowing users to connect their repositories and automatically fetch latest releases
3. Create a streamlined interface for managing environment variables securely
4. Engineer a runtime environment that loads and displays built React/Vue.js applications with proper isolation
5. Optimize for performance across platforms, addressing CORS challenges and implementing Kiosk mode functionality
6. Ensure cross-platform compatibility and responsive design
Technical Requirements:
1. Strong experience with Electron for desktop applications and/or modern web application frameworks
2. Expertise in authentication systems and secure credential management
3. Proficiency in GitHub API integration and deployment workflows
4. Background in configuring and loading external JavaScript applications within a host environment
5. Understanding of security best practices, particularly around environment variable handling
