Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming society, and the ethical challenges it poses require urgent, thoughtful, and inclusive solutions. The Adaptive Ethical Prism Framework (AEPF) seeks to address these challenges through an innovative, non-commercial, and collaborative approach to ethical decision-making in AI.

What is the Adaptive Ethical Prism Framework (AEPF)?
The AEPF is an open-source ethical AI framework designed to dynamically guide AI decision-making through five interconnected Ethical Prisms, each offering a unique ethical lens:
Human-Centric Prism: Prioritises individual rights and overall human well-being.
Ecocentric Prism: Advocates for environmental sustainability and ecological balance.
Sentient-First Prism: Ensures ethical considerations for all sentient beings, both human and non-human.
Innovation-Centric Prism: Balances ethical impacts with technological advancement and innovation.
Community-Centric Prism: Promotes societal harmony and the collective good.
These prisms feed into a central Ethical Governor, a unique
adaptive decision-making engine designed with feedback loops and contextual understanding, enabling real-time adjustments to ethical decisions based on changing circumstances.

Current Status and Development Needs
The existing AEPF prototype, primarily built in Python and featuring a Streamlit-based user interface, provides a clear structural vision but needs significant technical refinement. It currently has limitations, particularly in:
Accuracy and robustness of ethical decision-making processes.
User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design.
Comprehensive and transparent reporting functionalities.
As the creator, my background is not primarily technical—I developed AEPF intuitively rather than through professional coding practices. Therefore, the project is openly transparent about the need for experienced developers and technical experts to bring the framework to its full potential.
